We live in a generation where everything is broadcast on social media, from what kind of jobs we have, the food we eat, what we wear and our relationship with our significant other. Some flaunt as if everything is perfect when truth is nothing in life is perfect. That is something I had to learn because I won't lie I used to wish to have what others have. In due time I learned that wishing for what others have will only hide your blessings and besides it's best to wish for what God has in stores for you.
Social Media can make everyone love life look like a fairy tale story, don't get me wrong iam not saying all relationships are bad. I know for a fact no relationship is perfect, you will go through the ups and downs with your significant other. I will never say that my relationships in the past were perfect and my relationship now is perfect. The relationship that I am in now is what matters and we go through our shit but our ups outweighs the downs. We will never have the perfect relationship but the love that we have for each other surpasses anything that we may face while we are committed to one another.
Not even your favorite celebrities have the perfect relationship, oh you think Beyoncé and Jay Z, Gabrielle and Dwayne don't argue and go thought shit. If you don't, think again. They have their moments, they don't show it but they have their moments. You can't wish to have someone else's relationship, you don't know what others go through in their relationship. Some portray to have the perfect love story when in reality they don't, they just want to show something that isn't real to make others think as if what they have is perfect.
The only relationship I want is the one God wants for me, the only relationship iam focusing on is the one I am in now. Iam not focusing on other relationships, iam just here doing what I have to do to make my relationship better and much stronger than what it is now. When you focus on what others have, you will lose focus on what you have.
You shouldn't want anyone else's relationship but your own, we all want someone to make us happy and to treat us how we are suppose to be treated. We all derserve to be loved as I always say, everyone should be loved or miss out the opportunity to love. Relationships are hard, they have their ups and downs. Every relationship is like a roller coaster but you have to be in one that is worthy of having you in it.
Be patient for the love you deserve, be patient for the relationship that is meant to be yours. Don't be patient to have someone else's relationship, no one relationship should be your relationship goals. No relationship is perfect, every relationship have their moments, I know mines do but when it's something worth fighting for you will overcome it. Don't rush to be loved or to love just so you can have a relationship like some else, just be patient and the right relationship for you will come unexpectedly with the one meant for you.
